Free Dream Interpretation for Meghan

I cannot remember where I was or what I was doing before the dog appeared, but I do remember that as it approached me I was sitting on my ankles in a relaxed position, my knees on the ground in front of me, content to just be sitting there. I was not frightened when the large dog approached me, even though he seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Instead, once it was in view, I remember being mesmerized by two of the dogs characteristics. The first was that although it looked most like a very large German Shephard it had an entirely black short and shiny coat of hair. The second thing catching me off guard in an intriguing way, was that it came to rest before me in a sitting position directly in front of me and met me at eye level to return the most soul peircing gaze, as if it wanted to tell me something but knew I wouldn’t understand. For several moments the two of us just sat there, facing each other and I gazed into it’s eyes trying to figure out what it wanted to say, and then I woke up. Everything about my dream was lost except the vivid imagery of this large, human like, black dog, and it’s message that I couldn’t figure out. What could this possibly mean?

Meghan thank you for sharing your dream. Very nice dream… Always I start with saying that there is not “The truth” about what dreams mean. I am going to interpret this for you but you need to see if it rings true for you.

We have possibly three ways of looking at this. One is that the dog is you… but in the following manner… Lately in your life you are finding out some interesting things about your self and you are surprised by these things you are finding out about your self. It is also possible that while you are intrigued about who you are discovering you are also not completely understanding it. But it is in the realm of you liking what you are finding out about your self or how you are behaving around a significant situation in your life.

The other way to look at this is that this is actually another person who just came in to your life and you are very curious about this person or possibly want to know this person further… you feel this person is very interesting and very different than anyone you know..

The third way to interpret this is that you are in a situation like a “new job” … “new school” some kind of “new institution” that gives you the opportunity to find out more about your self and challenges you in a very nice way. It presents you with a challenge equal to you.. you are excited about this.

Think through and see if any of this fits… If not just remember it as a nice and curious dream you had and share it with your friends.
