In the backyard of my house there are loads and loads of snakes. And I am standing there. On the right side there are snakes and left side my house. snakes slither around near me but they don’t bite me or touch me although they are very close.Curiously I am not scared although in reality, I loathe them. Then someone else is standing in the backyard and cleaning the mess of snakes and they tell me to leave and I leave gratefully. After sometime I come and visit an "ashram"(A religious place) where the religious leader condemns the dress code of western wear and I am wearing pant and top. So I am expecting a verbal dressing down but thankfully he doesn’t scold me. Then I ask him if I can move back into my old house and he says its renovated and he is staying there.I am happy with the news. I am shown a new house of residence. It is too small but I think it is better than living in the previous house. In my dream I am still attending college and I am thinking I will study well this time. And in the dream I have no one to call my own. I am facing all this alone.

Anju, thank you for sharing your dream. Science does not know the meaning of dreams. We don’t have a formula inside of which we put a dream and get “The meaning” out the other end. We have some good ideas but bottom line is they are interpretations. The person who has the dream will know if the interpretation makes sense or not. This is best done through a dialog, but here all I do is guess and interpretation from what I read. So here it goes.

A few things are going on in this dream. First; there is a situation in your life where you have to deal with somethings you don’t like. This might be an institution, a job, school, something in that order. It is almost like you have a choice to deal with it or go for a comfortable choice that is old and tested… This is probably the “do nothing about it” choice. It also looks like there are people you know who are dealing with this the hard way and you think they can handle it without you. It also seems that the situation is pretty much handled or you think that or you wish that.

The second thing is about your thoughts regarding the “rules” inside of your religion and perhaps you think a bit differently than what is required. This is just sprinkled in to your dream.
