Angie’s dream – Reoccurring Ex-husband…

on 12/7/98 I was divorced, That was the last time I laid eyes on my ex. we were together for a decade.
BUT..for 11 years now I have dreamed of him. the dreams are of the man he should have been or I am being emotionally tormented. I have REALIZED that after I have dreamed of him, something bad happen to a loved one, or myself or a family member. I now refer to his Dreams as my personal EWS early warning system. Then I break out my Prayer list and start praying for all my LOVED ones, friends, family and myself. Have I solved my dream dilemma? OR… Is there another answer I have not considered? This is not only irritating but its annoying because despite the divorce and a devoted decade to him in real life. He inhabits or haunts my subconscious. I need some advice and help I have even asked GOD to assign someone else to be my EWS. Because I want to be 100% free of him in real life and in my dreams. please give me ideas, advice or wisdom!

Angie, thank you for sharing your dream… but you are not really sharing your dream… So there is no dream detail and therefore there is not much to interpret. However; I am going to make some general comments and my hope is that you can see what there is to see for your self.

First know that there is no science to the meaning of dreams… we cannot test a theory in a lab and get the same result every time. That is why it is “interpretation” and not “truth.” So what I am going to offer is an existential point of view and not anything else. What that means is I am simple interested in what is “really going on” and you can see if any of what I write fits for you. And… these are my interpretations… others might interpret your situation differently.

For me; reoccurring dreams are about an incomplete past. So in your case there is obviously and incomplete past and possibly a desire that is yet unfulfilled. That is all this dream is about… Not knowing the details of your dream I am not sure what the incomplete stuff is or the desire you have is… but you know very well what it is.

By no means… every time you see this dream and after wards someone-being-in-danger is valid… That was just a coincidence… it is highly unlikely and improbable that every time you see the dream something bad is going to happen afterwards…. I would let that one go…. Life “for me” doesn’t work that way.

I don’t give advise on the site… What I do know is this; human beings like to have answers and they like to “search” for answers as is there is an answer to find. I suggest that there answers to “create.” And all of us have the unique ability to create answers for any situation we have in our lives… You have such and ability as well… Create a way to complete the past and move on please..

Thank you for sharing on the site. Enjoy your dreams Angie

Dream Interpretation – A Short Lesson

This is going to be very simple and straight forward. First lets talk about some of the fundamentals and tell you what dreams are not. They are not messages from the future; they are not from another world; there is nothing inside of you that is trying to come out; they are nothing to be feared although they might be very scary.

No one knows "The truth" about the meaning of dreams. We don't know what dreams are, like we know what an apple is. We have some good theories but nothing has been proven yet. We don't have a formula inside of which we can put our dreams and get "The Meanings" out.

I am going to give you two examples of dream interpretation here and you will quickly understand how dream interpretation works for me. I say "For me" because there are different theories out there and this is the one that works for me. I have been doing it this particular way for the past 30 years.

First a bit of a background; I have been having a great concern about my financial situation lately and I am ignoring it. I am focusing on other areas of my life but this one I am ignoring and I know I am ignoring it and I am worrying about it but I don't think I can do much about it.

Here are the two dreams that clearly express this situation... In one of the dreams I am trying to park my car between two cars on the side of a street. I am gently moving forward watching carefully if the front of the car will hit the back bumper of the car in front of me. I gently come close and stop. I put the car in reverse and without paying much attention gently touch the car behind me and hear a little bump; then I move forward a bit and get out of the car to check how I parked. I notice the front is OK but when I check the back... I see that I have climbed over the hood of the car that is behind me and destroyed the back of my car. I say to my self... "I should have paid more attention."

In the other dream I am floating on my chest in a swimming pool. I am alone. I am holding my breath and I am very still. I slowly sink to the bottom of the pool and as I am sinking I get a bit worried but I think to my self... once I get to the bottom I can just push off. Well... I get to the bottom and I try to push off and I cannot. I start to panic and wake up.

Dreams for me... operate this way. But notice one thing; I am the best person who can interpret these dreams because I am the only person who knows the situations of my life. And I know where these dreams fit. If you did not know my life and the thoughts, emotions I have and... if you didn't have practice interpreting dreams you would have never known what these dreams meant.

You are the best person to interpret your dreams. If you are willing to practice, you can learn it here... browse through and see many interpretations I have done for others. You can also request a free dream interpretation.
