Laura’s dream… “and at the bottom of this drop there were big metal spikes…”

its hard to explain but all i can remember is being in a field that i usually take my dogs for a walk with my boyfriend it was pitch black i could not see a thing but i new were i was i also new at one end of the field half way down there was a really big drop and at the bottom of this drop there were big metal spikes i didn’t no how i new this because i couldn’t see anything i was trying to walk and feel about for a way out but wouldn’t move to much or breath too loudly because i was scared to death i started crying but still wouldn’t be too loud just incase anyone was out there and heard me then all of a sudden heard footsteps running and someone or something panting i tried being really still and quite but it headed straight for me and knocked me over i got back up slowly and started running trying not to run too loudly or breath too loudly so it didn’t no what direction i was going but it was still chasing i tripped then as i got up and stumbled i fell down the big drop then all of a sudden it got light and i seen myself falling and seen my body get punctured by the spikes that were down there and seen myself lay there dead. I’ve not dreamt like this before i normally wake up straight away if I’m about to be killed or falling but this dream really scared me i woke up in a pool of sweat and when i opened my eyes when i woke up because it was dark and i was the only one awake i wouldn’t dare move or make a sound just like in my dream a dream has never frightened me like that before so if you could help me try and understand my dream it would be really helpful to me kind regards Laura

Laura, thank you for sharing your dream…. What a powerful dream you had… First I must say that no one knows what dreams mean… what I mean by that is this; scientists don’t know the meaning of dreams… like they know gravity or an atom… we have some good ideas but that is all we have… and all these ideas are interpretations done by persons who have a lot of experience doing this kind of thing. And we all do it differently… Here is my take on your dream.

This is about “The situation” in your life you are dealing with… you know exactly what this thing is… This situation is frightening you. You think you are in bodily danger or your life is in danger… or something very dear to you (like a relationship or a job) is in danger in some way… although it is a familiar thing to you… you cannot seem to figure this out… And… here is the thing that I think is interesting about this dream… in big part you are making all of it up… the situation is not as bad and as scary as you think it is…

Take a look please and see if any of this fits…. Thank you for sharing your dream. Enjoy your dreams Laura.

Dream Interpretation – A Short Lesson

This is going to be very simple and straight forward. First lets talk about some of the fundamentals and tell you what dreams are not. They are not messages from the future; they are not from another world; there is nothing inside of you that is trying to come out; they are nothing to be feared although they might be very scary.

No one knows "The truth" about the meaning of dreams. We don't know what dreams are, like we know what an apple is. We have some good theories but nothing has been proven yet. We don't have a formula inside of which we can put our dreams and get "The Meanings" out.

I am going to give you two examples of dream interpretation here and you will quickly understand how dream interpretation works for me. I say "For me" because there are different theories out there and this is the one that works for me. I have been doing it this particular way for the past 30 years.

First a bit of a background; I have been having a great concern about my financial situation lately and I am ignoring it. I am focusing on other areas of my life but this one I am ignoring and I know I am ignoring it and I am worrying about it but I don't think I can do much about it.

Here are the two dreams that clearly express this situation... In one of the dreams I am trying to park my car between two cars on the side of a street. I am gently moving forward watching carefully if the front of the car will hit the back bumper of the car in front of me. I gently come close and stop. I put the car in reverse and without paying much attention gently touch the car behind me and hear a little bump; then I move forward a bit and get out of the car to check how I parked. I notice the front is OK but when I check the back... I see that I have climbed over the hood of the car that is behind me and destroyed the back of my car. I say to my self... "I should have paid more attention."

In the other dream I am floating on my chest in a swimming pool. I am alone. I am holding my breath and I am very still. I slowly sink to the bottom of the pool and as I am sinking I get a bit worried but I think to my self... once I get to the bottom I can just push off. Well... I get to the bottom and I try to push off and I cannot. I start to panic and wake up.

Dreams for me... operate this way. But notice one thing; I am the best person who can interpret these dreams because I am the only person who knows the situations of my life. And I know where these dreams fit. If you did not know my life and the thoughts, emotions I have and... if you didn't have practice interpreting dreams you would have never known what these dreams meant.

You are the best person to interpret your dreams. If you are willing to practice, you can learn it here... browse through and see many interpretations I have done for others. You can also request a free dream interpretation.
